We are forming a team to head to Hosanna House to begin the transformation of the orphanage into a family ministry center for unwed mothers. We will be remodeling the kitchen and begin the remodeling of the guest rooms into family suites.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Here's Hope found it necessary to close the orphanage in July. That does not mean the work there is finished, it is just changing. We will be serving much the same clientele but it will be more local community and local church based. We are all excited about this new opportunity to work with the communities of Valley Community and Homestead. The objective is to house the families for an 18 to 24 month period, giving the mothers time to learn parenting and job skills and then to help them find employment and a decent place to raise there children. We can not do this alone, however. So we are looking for partners to come along side us to help raise funds and recruit those willing to contribute on a long term basis. I thank you in advance for your prayerful consideration. If you are interested there is a donate button on this site.

Our 2019 Recycle Belize Golf Outing at the Greencastle Golf Club was a success! It was one of those days where multiple people came up to us and asked, "Did you order this weather just for us?" The weather and turn out was an absolute blessing from above. We are thankful for everyone who played, donated, and enjoyed some Marie Sharp's Hot Sauce with us! All your efforts ended up making around $4,000 for our Mission! Wahoo! Check out the pictures of our spectacular day below. Another building trip is being planned for the week of July 21-July 28. Mr. Todd and Miss Shirley have selected a home.
The cost of the trip will be $1350. I am looking for 10-14 participants. The cost covers food, housing, flight, transportation, and building materials. Depending on the number of participants, more funds may need to be raised for building materials. If you are interested in participating in or donating toward this mission please contact me at (717)494-6442, through Facebook or through my website recyclebelize.com

![]() Waiting and waiting and waiting has been the name of the game for the last few months. We applied to the Pennsylvania State Department for nonprofit status and have felt as if we've been put on hold for the last two months. Last Saturday our nonprofit approval arrived! Hurray! Recharged, Ron set up a bank account for the ministry. Then we set to work yesterday creating a PayPal account to launch this website and begin the next part of our adventure! We thought we had it made! Then we found that to set up our site as a nonprofit site we needed a Tech Soup account. We did that, but they must explore our ratings on GuideStar (for nonprofits), which we're not on yet because we don't have tax exempt status. It was off to the IRS site for the correct paperwork for that. After watching an educational video on the 1023, we completed and sent that paperwork off yesterday, but must wait for that to go through before GuideStar will record us, and of course, that must be done before TechSoup will authorize our account. Okay, we'll wait. God is growing the fruit of patience in us! Praise the Lord! |
